Who are These Sessions For?

These sessions are especially useful for new students, staff, and faculty, but they are open to anyone affiliated with the Language Schools.

What Will I Learn?

You will learn to find physical and digital library materials in foreign languages both within our libraries and beyond our collection. We’ll talk about many of the resources in the Language Schools Library Guide. Feel free to browse the guide in advance of your meeting and to refer to it throughout the term. We will also have a short library tour visiting the language collections, assigned carrels for each school, and our Special Collections where you will get to interact with rare materials relating to many languages.

What Will I Not Learn?

These sessions do not cover Zotero citation management software. To learn about Zotero, sign up for a Zotero Training Session (find links in the Language Schools Library Guide) or visit the Zotero Guide for self-guided assistance.

Where and When Will this Session Take Place?

This session will meet in the Wilson Media Lab, room 220, on the first floor of the Davis Family Library. You will receive a reminder the day before the session. Watch for messages from "LibCal," and check your spam/junk folder if you don't receive them.
